Golden Gate Bridge, Part 1

I love the Golden Gate Bridge. I can’t pin down any one reason: I love biking over it, especially in the fog with the low visibility and the loud foghorns going off; I love its architecture and the beauty of its lines and that distinctive International Orange color; and I love photographing it.

In fact, just about everybody loves to photograph this bridge. Every time I shoot it, I’m aware of the long series of photographs stretching backwards and forwards in time from my particular shot on any particular day. You could define a categorization scheme for bridge photos based on the vantage point.
